Frank Shubi Basheke is a Software Engineer at The United Republic of Tanzania National Commission for UNESCO. With a passion for improving the livelihood of his fellow Tanzanians, Frank approaches his work with a strong ethical compass and diligent work ethic. Currently, Frank is a volunteer member of the development team responsible for designing and implementing the ELM-KUSOMA system. This online school monitoring and virtual class system will be used by different learning institutions in Tanzania, from primary to university level. Frank's responsibilities range from analyzing user requirements to writing and testing code, refining and rewriting it as necessary, and communicating with other programmers and teachers involved in the project. Prior to his current role, Frank worked as a Software Engineer at Belltro, where he collaborated with colleagues to develop ways of transforming the future of Conversational AI in Africa. He also worked as a Junior Software Developer at Entersoft Systems Co. Ltd, where he was responsible for system evaluation and design, system maintenance patches and data fixes, creating test programs according to specification, and providing support in the event of system failure. Frank holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Dodoma, which he completed in 2019. He also holds Ordinary and Advanced Certificates in Secondary Education from St. Anthony's Secondary School, which he completed between 2008 and 2015, and a Primary School Leaving Examination from Lesedi Primary School, which he completed in 2002. Frank's tech stack includes Software Engineering, testing, and AI. With 4.20 years of relevant experience, Frank is committed to using his skills and knowledge to improve the lives of Tanzanians through innovative technology solutions.
